Sanjay is a business leader with over 30 years of healthcare industry experience in senior leadership roles having worked closely with the CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. Sanjay is based in Singapore and is a Harvard Business School (HBS) alumnus. In his last assignment, he was the President – Asia-Pacific for Hologic Inc (HOLX) a leader in women’s health.

 

He has previously served as the President-Asia Pacific for Baxter International Inc. (BAX) with responsibility for 12,000 employees and $2 Billion in revenue in Asia-Pacific. Before that, Sanjay spent 10 years at Boston Scientific Corporation (BSX), a leading medical device company. Sanjay has lived and worked in London, India, China, and Singapore.

 

Sanjay has served on the board of APACMED, the Asia-Pacific MedTech industry body for several years and has been a founding member of the board of Advamed in China. He has been an invited speaker for several years at INSEAD/ NUS in Singapore. He is actively involved in the mentoring of polytechnic students in Singapore under the auspices of the HBS Singapore Club. His lifetime career goal is to create 10,000 employment opportunities and positively impact the society by combining his business skills and societal responsibility as a business leader.

 

At the end of 30 years in the healthcare industry he has been able to create 6,041 new jobs and believes through mentoring the next generation of purpose-driven healthcare leaders he will achieve this milestone even faster. With this goal, he has co-founded, Asia Mentors Circle to accelerating healthcare talent in Asia.

Sanjay is the proud father of two young adults Tanya and Neha and a Golden Retriever named Melody.
